Highland Film Group has sold the U.S. rights to the sexy noir thriller by director Vaughn Stein.

RLJE Films has picked up the U.S. rights to Terminal, the noir thriller starring Margot Robbie, Simon Pegg, Mike Myers, Max Irons and Dexter Fletcher, the company announced Wednesday.

The deal with the Highland Film Group follows Robbie nailing her landing for I, Tonya with an Oscar nomination in the best actress category for her role in the ice-skating drama.

“We’re excited to work with Margot Robbie, who not only stars in, but also produced this amazing film,” Mark Ward, chief acquisitions officer for RLJE Films, said in a statement. Robbie also produced I, Tonya.

A spring 2018 theatrical release is planned for Terminal, the sexy noir thriller about two hit men agreeing to a borderline suicide mission for a mysterious employer and a high paycheck, only to find a dynamic woman named Annie (Robbie) may be more involved than they had originally suspected.

Besides Robbie via her Lucky Chap Productions shingle, the producer credits on Terminal are shared by David Barron, Molly Hassell, Tom Ackerley (I, Tonya), Josey McNamara and Teun Hilte. Ward and Jess De Leo from RLJE negotiated the deal with CAA and Alana Crow at Highland Film Group on behalf of the filmmakers.

Lucky Chap is repped by Management 360, CAA and attorney Jeff Bernstein.
