Mariah Carey Teases Fans About Twins’ Baby Names


She says her newborn babies with Nick Cannon are “doing great ... And they are the most incredible gifts.”

Days after welcoming twins, Mariah Carey Tweeted to fans that the newborns are doing well.

“I wish I could personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies!” she Tweeted. “They’re doing great ... And they are the most incredible gifts we could ever have imagined!”

As for names, the new mom and husband Nick Cannon aren’t ready to make any announcements just yet.

“So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc,” she wrote in another Tweet. “both begin w/M’s!!!!”

Following the birth of the couple’s twins, Nick Tweeted, “My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life!…I won’t ever be able to top this!”

Carey welcomed the babies at 12:07 PM EDT on Saturday at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.

The girl was reportedly born first, weighing 5 lbs., 3 oz., and was 18 inches long; her brother was born next, weighing 5 lbs., 6 oz., and was 19 inches.
