The announcement follows accusations of sexual and psychological abuse against Ramirez.

Marilyn Manson has dismissed his longtime bassist Twiggy Ramirez.

Although the veteran shock-rocker didn’t delve into details surrounding the split, the decision follows Jack Off Jill singer Jessicka Addams’ accusations of sexual and psychological abuse against Ramirez (real name Jeordie White).

“I have decided to part ways with Jeordie White as a member of Marilyn Manson,” Manson wrote. “He will be replaced for the upcoming tour. I wish him well.”

White, who has also played with Nine Inch Nails and A Perfect Circle, has yet to share a statement, though Manson responded with a message to Pitchfork in which he wrote: “I knew Jessicka and Jeordie had a romantic relationship many years ago and I considered and still consider Jessicka to be a friend,” he said. “I knew nothing about these allegations until very recently and am saddened by Jessicka’s obvious distress.”

Manson now confirms Ramirez is out and won’t join the band on the road in support of its recent 10th studio album, Heaven Upside Down, dates for which are slated to kick off Nov. 5 at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest in Devore, Calif.

It’s not the first time Ramirez and Manson have gone separate ways. Ramirez departed in 2002, with Manson explaining his decision at the time: "Believing in yourself and making a tough, almost impossible decision can hopefully define a man. This day is far harder for me and my dear friend than it is for anyone else."
