The U.S. outing is the industrial rocker's first since 2009 and will likely coincide with the spring release of the album "Born Villain."

Marilyn Manson is heading out on the road in the States for the first time since 2009. The industrial rocker will kick off an 18-date spring tour on April 27 in Providence, R.I.

The upcoming trek will likely coincide with the planned spring release of Born Villain, Manson's eighth studio album. His last effort, 2009's The High End of Low, has sold 148,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
