Mark Consuelos Joins Comedy 'Nine Lives' (Exclusive)
Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner and Christopher Walken are starring in the EuropaCorp project.
Mark Consuelos has signed on to EuropaCorp’s high-concept comedy Nine Lives, which will star Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner, Christopher Walken and Robbie Amell.
Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld is helming the project from a script by Daniel Antoniazzi and Ben Shiffrin.
The film centers on a stuffy businessman who finds himself trapped inside the body of his family's cat.
EuropaCorp is financing, producing and distributing the movie with Christophe Lambert and Luc Besson signed on as producers.
Consuelos, who has been married to Kelly Ripa since 1996, was most recently seen in Amazon’s series Alpha House as Senator Andy Guzman. His earlier TV credits include American Horror Story and All My Children. On the film side, he recently appeared in 2014’s A Walk Among the Tombstones. He’s repped by CAA and Management 360.
EuropaCorp's other upcoming projects include The Transporter Refueled, opening on Sept. 4; Shut In starring Naomi Watts which will be released on February 19, 2016; and the action-thriller The Lake starring Sullivan Stapleton and JK Simmons, out July 15, 2016.
