Cannes: Amy Madigan, Mark Harmon Join 'Last Full Measure' (Exclusive)
They'll star opposite Scott Eastwood and Ed Harris.
Mark Harmon and Amy Madigan have joined the cast of The Last Full Measure, starring Scott Eastwood and Ed Harris.
Morgan Freeman and Laurence Fishburne are in talks to likewise star in the political thriller, to be directed by Todd Robinson. Foresight Unlimited is representing foreign rights, while UTA and Paradigm are co-repping U.S. rights.
Last Measure is based on the true story of a young Pentagon investigator (Eastwood) who tries to get to the bottom of a cover-up involving a courageous Air Force medic who fought in the Vietnam War.
Lauren Selig, John Watson, Pen Densham, Julian Adams, Howard Burd and Mark Damon are producing, with Tamara Birkemoe and Sidney Sherman executive producing. Production is set to begin this September.
Madigan, who is married to Harris, just finished starring in The New Group's New York stage production of Buried Child and will next be seen in Warren Beatty's upcoming film about Howard Hughes. Harmon most recently starred in CBS' 13th seasons of NCIS.
