Hosted by Rosario Dawson, the live digital event on Monday will also feature Orlando Bloom, Alyssa Milano and Sarah Silverman.

Stars including Mark Ruffalo, Eva Longoria, Sacha Baron Cohen, Alicia Keys and Sarah Silverman are participating in a live digital telethon on Monday — the eve before the election — to encourage voting.

Hosted by Rosario Dawson and Ben Gleib and presented by the anti-corruption organization RepresentUs, the goal of the event not to raise money, but to ask that viewers make a pledge to cast their vote on Nov. 3. It is free to watch.

Other participants include Orlando Bloom, Alyssa Milano, Amy Schumer, Kerry Washington, Busy Phillips, Kevin Smith, Debra Messing, Josh Gad, Ed Helms, Joshua Jackson, Chelsea Handler, Adam Mckay and America Ferrara.

"I know we hear this a lot, but this is the most important election of our lives," said Milano in a statement. "And no matter what side you’re on, voting is how we take care of each other. It’s how we protect the things that make us American. A huge turnout is how we can protect the election and make cheating or complaints of fraud moot. It’s why this telethon matters so much-it helps us take care of each other."

Renaldo Pearson, chief diversity officer at RepresentUs, added, "The United States is currently near the bottom of the list, number 26 out of the 32 leading democracies of the world, for voter turnout. My generation is the first to witness America become less democratic — forced to contend with the outsized influence of big money in politics and the most voter suppression since the Jim Crow era. With this telethon, RepresentUs hopes to do our part as leaders of the pro-democracy movement and connect the dots between the long-game (electoral reforms) and the short-game (the next election) to unrig the system."

The Telethon for America event begins at 6 p.m. PT on Monday at
