Marshmello Cancels Las Vegas Show in Wake of Deadly Shooting

The DJ and producer cancelled his scheduled concert at XS Nightclub, tweeting warnings to Vegas residents.

DJ and producer Marshmello is among the first artists to cancel a planned concert in Las Vegas in the wake of last night's tragic shooting.
A man identified as Stephen Paddock, 64, used an automatic weapon from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort to open fire on attendees of the three-day Route 91 Country Festival.
The hours during and after the shooting were tense and dangerous. Authorities urged people not to leave their homes and hotel rooms, as did Marshmello, who cancelled a scheduled performance at XS Nightclub in the city. The DJ and producer also shared a hotline number from the Las Vegas Police Department for those seeking lost loved ones in the wake of this senseless tragedy.
