Martha heads to CBC in Canada

TORONTO -- Martha Stewart is headed to free TV in Canada via the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. after first making a presence on cable channels here, Fremantle Enterprises said Thursday.

Fremantle said that the Canadian pubcaster has purchased the third season of "The Martha Stewart Show," comprising 180 one-hour episodes, for its daytime schedule.

The first two seasons of "The Martha Stewart Show" aired on Slice, a lifestyle channel that passed on renewing the show for a third season.
