Martin couple each cast in pilots

'Everybody Hates Chris' star also among actors landing roles

Husband-and-wife acting duo Tisha Campbell-Martin and Duane Martin have landed regular roles on two comedy pilots: ABC's "Wright vs. Wrong" and NBC's "Next," respectively.

Additionally, "Everybody Hates Chris" star Tyler James Williams, repped by Osbrink and Seven Summits, has joined NBC's comedy pilot "Our Show"; Dejan Loyola has been cast in the CW's drama pilot "HMS"; and "Better Off Ted" co-star Jonathan Slavin, co-managed by Coronel Group and the Hofflund Co., has been added to CBS' comedy pilot "Team Spitz."

For Slavin, the casting is formally in second position to "Ted."

"Wright" stars Debra Messing as Evelyn Wright, a strong-minded, ambitious political personality who appears tough and espouses a right-wing agenda but behind the scenes is consumed by her foibles and flaws.

Campbell-Martin, repped by Kohner and Evolution, will play Evelyn's stylist, who can't name the Vice President but knows all the Hollywood gossip. She most recently co-starred on Lifetime's "Rita Rocks."

Paul Reiser stars in the semi-autobiographical "Next" as a former television star and family man dealing with life's day-to-day conundrums.

The Kohner-repped Martin ("All of Us") will play his friend, a restaurant owner.
