'The Hobbit' and 'Sherlock' actor will take the stage at Europe's largest film fest for kids.

British actor Martin Freeman will receive a Giffoni Experience Award on July 19 at Europe’s largest film festival for kids.

The Hobbit star will meet with the Giffoni Film Festival’s young jurors to discuss his life and work, organizers of the festival in Italy said on Thursday.

Freeman is an Emmy and BAFTA award winner for his work on Sherlock. His role as Lester Nygaard in Fargo earned him Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

Upcoming roles include parts in next year’s Fun House opposite Tina Fey, Margot Robbie and Billy Bob Thornton, and in Marvel's Captain America: Civil War.

Thousands of kids and teens will attend Giffoni, and serve on juries according to their age group to choose the festival’s top prizes. Other award recipients this year include Mark Ruffalo.

The 45th edition of the festival takes place in Giffoni Valle Piana from July 17-26.
