Matthew Bomer to wear 'White Collar'

Cast contingency lifted for the USA Network pilot

Matthew Bomer has been tapped to star in USA Network's 90-minute pilot "White Collar," lifting the cast contingency on the project.

"White Collar," from Fox TV Studios and writer/executive producer Jeff Eastin, centers on Neal Caffrey (Bomer), a brilliant con artist who, against his will, partners with the head of FBI's white-collar crime unit to solve cases.

"White Collar" is one of two 90-minute cast-contingent pilots USA greenlighted in May, along with "Royal Pains."

"Royal Pains" also has been cleared for production following the recent casting of Mark Feuerstein as the lead.

Bomer starred on ABC's "Traveler" and most recently recurred on NBC's "Chuck."
