The 'Handmaid's Tale' star is an active member of the K-pop boy band's #BTSArmy.

Max Minghella stopped by The Late Late Show to promote his directorial debut, music drama Teen Spirit, starring Elle Fanning. But during his chat with host James Corden, the actor got a little sidetracked and ended up discussing his unwavering love for K-pop boy band BTS.

Minghella told Corden that it was his good friend and Teen Wolf star Dylan O'Brian who first turned him on to the international supergroup, known for hits like "Mic Drop," "Idol" and "DNA." Asked about the experience of attending a BTS concert with O'Brien, Minghella said the young men were "astonishing" live entertainers. He added, "I don't know how they do it. They are amazing performers."

To prove his #BTSArmy credentials, Minghella correctly identified several of the band's members, including Jin and J-Hope. The Handmaid's Tale star then revealed his two favorites in the group: Jungkook and V. Minghella also translated the Korean meaning of BTS' name into English.

That's when Corden reintroduced Minghella to his late-night audience as "BTS' No. 1 fan." Minghella didn't object, and, with a smile on his face, began clapping for himself.

Minghella's interview with Corden comes just days after BTS made history as the first K-pop boy band to perform as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live. The septet recently released their highly anticipated EP Persona: Map of the Soul, featuring their Halsey-assisted lead single, "Boy With Luv."
