Mayhem Miller and Eureka Predict the Future of 'RuPaul’s Drag Race'

"I want to see the next winner do something that’s completely different," Eureka told The Hollywood Reporter. "I want to see someone that’s representing a different part of our community, too."

RuPaul’s Drag Race continues to grow season after season. The series received 12 nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards, including outstanding reality-competition program and outstanding host for a reality-competition program for RuPaul Charles.

Season 10 contestants Mayhem Miller and Eureka spoke with The Hollywood Reporter on what makes RuPaul a special host, reflecting on the host's gift of connecting and spreading the message of drag.

“I think her ability to connect with the contestants and the viewers at home, and the message that she has of celebrating differences and pushing the common thread that we all need to be loving each other and celebrating our differences, and sharing with the world the beauty of what drag really is. I think that’s what makes it so special,” Miller told THR.

Added Eureka: “She is such a class act and a professional. She’s been doing this forever. As a host, she is so charming. I remember when we were doing the makeover challenge, the one thing that Frankie Grande said he was most scared of is when he walked out and saw her in full drag glory. It’s literally like seeing a unicorn.”

With season 11 currently underway, Mayhem Miller and Eureka gave THR some predictions on what they’d like to see with the next generation of queens.

“I would love to see the level of creativity being push. I want to see the next level. Who’s going to be the one that changes the game?” Miller replied.

“I want to see the next winner do something that’s completely different, off the wall. I hope it’s a big girl,” Eureka added. “I just want to see a new shape, color or size representing that level of our brand. I want to see someone that’s representing a different part of our community, too. Let’s be a little diverse.”
