Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Photographed Together for First Time
Those who wear beanies together, stay together, right?
Prince Harry and Suits star Meghan Markle have been photographed together for the first time in London.
The lovebirds were headed to Gielgud Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue to catch The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time on Wednesday night, reported British newspaper The Sun, which obtained photos of the two on their date. Earlier this week, Harry, 32, and Markle, 35, were also spotted buying a Christmas tree at Pines and Needles in London's Battersea Park, according to Us Weekly. Clearly things are getting serious.
Prior to their outings, the couple stayed mum about their relationship — that is, until Prince Harry issued a statement regarding the "smear" press about his girlfriend that proved she was more than just a fling.
"The past week has seen a line crossed," the statement said. It spoke out against "the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments."
In conclusion, it stated that "Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle's safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her. It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is 'the price she has to pay' and that 'this is all part of the game.' He strongly disagrees. This is not a game — it is her life and his."
