'Melrose Place' adds two more residents

Colin Egglesfield, Stephanie Jacobsen join CW pilot

From a daytime soap to a primetime one: "All My Children" hunk Colin Egglesfield is the latest actor to check into CW's "Melrose Place."

Also cast in the pilot is Stephanie Jacobsen ("Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles").

Both will be playing leads on the CBS Par-produced ensemble drama.

Egglesfield will play Melrose Place resident Auggie. An avid surfer, Auggie works as a sous-chef at a hot restaurant while dreaming of one day working for himself. Egglesfield is repped by Gersh and Brillstein.

Jacobsen will play Lauren, a med student at UCLA living a double life as a high-end call girl.

Egglesfield and Jacobsen join previously cast Michael Rady, Katie Cassidy, Ashlee Simpson and Jessica Lucas.
