'Out Came the Sun', which publishes April 7, recounts the time Allen tried to convince the teenage actress' parents to let her come to Paris with him.

Mariel Hemingway alleges that Woody Allen hit on her while she was a teenager, the actress writes in her forthcoming memoir.

Fox News, which obtained an early copy of Out Came the Sun, which publishes on April 7, reports that Hemingway tells about how Allen's behavior made her nervous.

Just after she starred as Allen's teenage girlfriend in 1979's Manhattan, he flew out to Hemingway's Idaho home to convince her parents to let her come to Paris with him. "Our relationship was platonic, but I started to see that he had a kind of crush on me, though I dismissed it as the kind of thing that seemed to happen any time middle-aged men got around young women," she writes, adding she hoped her parents would quash the idea. "I didn't know what the arrangement was going to be, that I wasn't sure if I was even going to have my own room. Woody hadn't said that. He hadn't even hinted it. But I wanted them to put their foot down. They didn't. They kept lightly encouraging me."

Allen was staying the night at the Hemingway home, and she woke him up in the middle of the night to ask him, "I'm not going to get my own room, am I?" She then told him, "I can't go to Paris with you."

The next day, Allen left Idaho (on his private jet).

Evidently, Allen was not the only actor or director to hit on Hemingway. Others include Robert DeNiro ("fat and unpleasant," she recalls) and Bob Fosse, the latter of whol told her, "I have never not [blanked] my leading lady," while he chased her around a hotel room. Fox News reports "the book at times reads like a sitcom about Hollywood harassment."

On a more serious note, Out Came the Sun grapples with her own body and food issues, and her family's history of mental illness (grandfather Ernest Hemingway, the famed writer, and sister Margaux Hemingway both committed suicide).

For his part, Allen has been dogged with stories about his interest in young women going back to the early '90s, when he started a relationship with Soon-Yi Previn, the adopted daughter of his then-girlfriend Mia Farrow and her ex-husband Andre Previn. Allen was 56, while Previn was about 19.

Soon after his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow accused him of molesting her when she was a young child. Allen denied the allegations, asserting that Dylan had been manipulated by a vengeful Mia Farrow, who was upset about his relationship with Soon-Yi Previn.
