PERFECT PAIR: Beyonce and Jay Z

From Queen B and Hova to the Beckhams, a bevy of good-looking couples stepped out for the Super Bowl of fashion -- and it warmed our hearts.

Love was in the air at this year's Met Gala carpet, with a number of fashion-forward couples stepping out to celebrate the annual ball.

Beyonce and Jay Z arrived hand in hand, both looking gorgeous in Givenchy. While the rapper went for a black-and-white ensemble, Queen B slayed the scene in a slightly sheer embellished gown, with a veil to top it off.

Another power couple on the scene: David and Victoria Beckham. The soccer player looked dapper in a color scheme similar to Jay Z's, in an outfit designed by Ralph Lauren. Victoria was also stunning in a strapless white gown from her namesake line. The always stylish Diane Kruger attended the ball with longtime boyfriend Joshua Jackson, both wearing Hugo Boss (the actress carried an Edie Parker clutch).

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds also made a fashionable entrance. The actress glowed in a Gucci gown with a plunging neckline and her old-Hollywood-inspired 'do. Her husband didn't disappoint either, wearing a Gucci-designed midnight-blue velvet tux with black patent leather lace-up shoes.

Johnny Depp was accompanied by fiancee Amber Heard, who glowed in a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown. Depp embodied this year's strict white-tie dress code with a black Ralph Lauren tux, complete with long coattails and white bow tie, natch.

Gisele Bundchen stepped out with husband Tom Brady, who arrived sans his questionable bleached-blond hair look spotted just a few days prior at Kentucky Derby. The supermodel wore a sleek custom Balenciaga gown, while her arm candy donned a Tom Ford tux.

Newly minted lovebirds Charlize Theron (in a flattering Dior gown) and Sean Penn didn't mind showing a bit of PDA as they walked up the steps of the grand entrance holding hands. Sweet and chic.
