Miami's Bang! fest postponed

The 2007 Bang! Music Festival, originally scheduled for Nov. 10-11 at Miami's Bayfront Park Amphitheatre, has been "postponed," according to the festival's Web site. Representatives for the festival were not available for comment at deadline.

The Haddad Productions-steered event, which was expanding to two days this year, was scheduled to feature headliners Kanye West (Nov. 10) and Smashing Pumpkins (Nov. 11). Thirty other acts were expected to perform, including the Bravery, Riverboat Gamblers, Automatic Loveletter and Kevens.

Tickets for Bang! went on sale Sept. 1, starting at $75 per day. A $250 per day VIP package was also offered. Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase, according to the Bang! Web site.

Bang! debuted in 2005 with a lineup featuring Fischerspooner, VHS Or Beta and the Brazilian Girls. Last year's festival boasted appearances by Daft Punk, Duran Duran, Gnarls Barkley and Modest Mouse.
