Michael Sheen to Share Career Insights at London BAFTA Event
The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actor will take part in a Q&A later this month.
Frost/Nixon and Masters of Sex star Michael Sheen will be the subject of an upcoming BAFTA event in London.
Announced Thursday by BAFTA’s Welsh branch, BAFTA Cymru, "An Audience with Michael Sheen" will "celebrate the work of one of Wales’ foremost actors and keen supporters of new talent."
Sheen is no stranger to BAFTA, having picked up film and TV nominations for his performances in The Queen, Kenneth Williams: Fantabulosa! and Dirty Filthy Love. He has also received an Emmy nomination for The Special Relationship, one of three films in which he played former U.K. prime minister Tony Blair, and a Golden Globe nomination for Showtime drama Masters of Sex.
"I am honored and hugely looking forward to being able to share an evening at BAFTA. It's always a pleasure to be involved with an organization that does so much for film and television both at home and abroad," Sheen said in a statement.
"An Audience with Michael Sheen" will take place at BAFTA’s London headquarters on March 11.
Recent BAFTA events have put the spotlight on the likes of Ethan Hawke, Julie Walters and Ray Winstone.
