Casey Affleck is executive producing the film that Radiant Films International will introduce to buyers in Berlin.

Michael Sheen and Michelle Monaghan are ready for The Price of Admission.

The pair will star in Peter Glanz’s next feature film, which is being described as a unique story in the tradition of Being John Malkovich and Birdman. It follows a playwright named Harold (Sheen), who is dealing with both a mid-life crisis and failing marriage. His wife Eliza (Monaghan), tired of playing second-fiddle to his work, wants a family. But incapable of functioning in reality, Harold submerges himself in an elaborate play about his life. Blurring the lines between fiction and reality, we follow him as he descends into madness.

John Powers Middleton and Alex Foster of The Middleton Media Group are producing with Neda Armian of Armian Pictures, Adrian Politowski’s Umedia and Glanz.

Manchester by the Sea star and Oscar nominee Casey Affleck will executive produce through his company partnership with Middleton, The Affleck/Middleton Project.

Radiant Films International is handling foreign sales and will launch the project at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin. Radiant’s acquisitions executive Mike Dougherty introduced the project to the company, with president and CEO Mimi Steinbauer negotiating the rights deal. International film group Umedia is co-financing the picture. ICM Partners packaged the film and is handling U.S. rights.

“Buyers are searching for high-end, quality material that is increasingly harder to find these days in the international marketplace," commented Steinbauer. "The Price of Admission brings together stellar creative elements to craft this inventive, funny and original story dealing with weighty ideas in an engaging way, and we are delighted to offer it to our partners at the Berlin market.”

Glanz is directing the film from his own screenplay. He previously wrote and helmed The Longest Week, starring Jason Bateman, as well as the short A Relationship in Four Days, which screened at Sundance and Cannes Critics' Week. Glanz also is attached to Race to the South Pole for Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s company Pearl Street Films and starring Casey Affleck. He is repped by ICM Partners and Mosaic.

Sheen was most recently seen in Tom Ford’s thriller Nocturnal Animals with Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal and in the sci-fi adventure Passengers with Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt. He also stars opposite Richard Gere in Joseph Cedar’s upcoming thriller Norman, and received a Golden Globe nomination for his leading role on Showtime’s hit series Masters of Sex. He is repped by ICM Partners and Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management.

Monaghan currently stars on Hulu series The Path with Aaron Paul and was seen on the big screen in Peter Berg's Patriots Day opposite Mark Wahlberg. The actress was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance on HBO’s True Detective, and can be seen in Sidney Hall with Elle Fanning, Logan Lerman and Kyle Chandler, which premiered at Sundance. She is repped by ICM Partners and Circle of Confusion.
