Rosie O'Donnell's Ex-Wife Michelle Rounds Dies at 46

Michelle Rounds, who was married to O'Donnell from 2012 to 2015, reportedly died of suicide.

Michelle Rounds, the ex-wife of actress Rosie O'Donnell, has died by an apparent suicide, according to reports from TMZ. She was 46. 

"I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle’s family, her wife Krista, and their child," O'Donnell said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rounds had previously been hospitalized after an overdose in 2015 and had been diagnosed with desmoids tumors and underwent surgery for the rare cancer-like illness previously. She was a corporate headhunter for an IT company based in New York.

O'Donnell and Rounds first began dating in 2011, later marrying each other in a private ceremony in 2012. After a split in 2014, the couple was officially divorced in 2015. They shared an adopted daughter, Dakota, 4.
