Michelle Yeoh, Awkwafina in Talks for Film From 'Swiss Army Man' Directors
The 'Crazy Rich Asians' co-stars would reunite for the interdimensional action film.
Crazy Rich Asians is proving to be box-office gold, falling only 6 percent in its second weekend at the domestic box office where it has pulled in a total gross of $83 million to date.
Now two of its stars, Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina, are in talks to reunite. This time for an interdimensional action film.
Everything Everywhere All at Once is the next feature for directing duo Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. Better known as The Daniels, the filmmakers were behind the Sundance stand-out Swiss Army Man, the surrealist dramedy that saw Daniel Radcliffe play a flatulent corpse.
Avengers: Infinity War directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo will produce via their AGBO.
Awkwafina, who also appeared in this summer's Ocean's 8, will star opposite Emma Roberts in sci-fi thriller Paradise Hills. She is repped by UTA, Artists First and Schreck Rose.
Yeoh's long list of credits includes Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and the actress can currently be seen on CBS All Access' Star Trek: Discovery.
