Milan preps Agency for film pros

MILAN -- The Cultural Assessor for the City of Milan on Monday announced the creation of the Cinema Agency, an initiative designed to provide a forum for film industry insiders to exchange ideas, work on projects, learn new skills and lobby for favorable regulations and government funding.

The Cinema Agency -- paid for with money from the city government along with membership fees -- will be open to producers, directors, distributors, film festival organizers and journalists.
