MIPCOM: Cineflix Rights Extends Library Distribution Deal with LMNO Productions
The Canadian distributor takes worldwide rights to over 1000 episodes of programming from the producer of TLC's 'The Little Couple.'
Canadian distributor Cineflix Rights has renewed and enlarged its deal to sell library and new titles from U.S. producer LMNO Productions into the world market.
The latest three-year deal, unveiled at MIPCOM, sees Cineflix Rights take the exclusive worldwide rights to over 1000 episodes of programming from Los Angeles-based LMNO. That includes Killer Confessions, set to debut on Investigation Discovery U.S. on Oct. 13, and the second season of Murder Book, which broke primetime audience records on Investigation Discovery earlier this year.
The earlier distribution deal with LMNO, signed in 2012, had the British subsidiary of Montreal-based Cineflix Media handling the U.S. producer's 450-hour back catalog. "We are really pleased to be renewing our relationship with Cineflix Rights. They have been instrumental in raising LMNO’s profile globally," LMNO CEO Eric Schotz said Monday in a statement.
LMNO has produced a slew of programming for U.S. broadcast and cable networks, including CBS, NBC, FOX, Discovery Channel, TLC, Lifetime, A&E and OWN.
