Miramax EVP of Home Entertainment, Eric Doctorow, Departs After 10 Months

The alum of Paramount and MGM alum announced his exit in a note to friends.

Eric Doctorow has left Miramax after 10 months as Executive Vice President in charge of home entertainment.
In a note to friends, the former Paramount Home Entertainment president and MGM home entertainment general manager wrote, "When I joined the company I expected my role to evolve beyond where it did and after a number of discussions with [CEO] Mike Lang we agreed it made sense for me to pursue other endeavors. My year at Miramax was terrific. The people there are great. I believe in the company's mission. I had some experiences I will never forget. As I enter the new year I am excited to be exploring new challenges and hope to be able to tell you about them shortly."
Doctorow had been charged with managing Miramax's relationships with distributors of DVD and Blu-ray Discs from its 550 title-plus library, including Lionsgate, StudioCanal and Echo Bridge.
