Joining the 'Revolt'

Justin Long, Fred Willard, Zach Galifianakis, Erik Knudsen and Mary Kay Place are joining Michael Cera in the Dimension Films comedy "Youth in Revolt." Portia Doubleday will make her feature debut as Cera's love interest in Miguel Arteta's adaptation of C.D Payne's cult novel.

Anchor Bay ups duo

Anchor Bay Entertainment has promoted Ray Gagnon to executive vp worldwide sales and Brian Daley to senior vp worldwide business operations. Gagnon will oversee domestic sales efforts and the field sales team. Daley will oversee ABE worldwide operations, sales planning and international.

PGA picks Hadity

John Hadity has been elected chair of the Producers Guild of America East regional executive board. Dana Kuznetzkoff and Mark Marabella will serve as vice chairs. Harvey Wilson was elected as a member-at-large, as well as Robert Frye, Jeff Gomez, Rachel Klein and Peter Saraf. Lisa Diamond was re-elected as financial officer.

Zeitgeist 'Stranded'

Zeitgeist Films has eaten up U.S. theatrical and home video rights to Gonzalo Arijon's cannibalism docu "Stranded: I've Come From a Plane That Crashed in the Mountains." The distributor plans an Oct. 22 release in New York followed by a national rollout.

Ricci colors in role

Christina Ricci will voice the lead role of the timid crayon Yellow in Exodus Film Group's CG-animated feature "The Hero of Color City." Magnolia will handle North American theatrical and home video distribution.
