Robin Williams' Fiat Risus Inc. sued Gold Circle Films and Frank and Beans Prods. in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday for breach of contract, claiming he's owed $6 million in a pay-or-play deal for the project "A Couple of Dicks." Williams claims the defendants struck a deal with him in December, with production starting no later than April 15 of this year. The agreement called for Williams to be paid $5.25 million in advance, with contingent compensation from domestic and foreign distribution as well as boxoffice bonuses. In March, however, the companies told Williams the project was not going forward and have refused to pay the actor, according to the lawsuit. Gold Circle could not be reached for comment.
