BSkyB stands firm

British Sky Broadcasting has defended its decision to go ahead with the planned broadcast of a death by assisted suicide despite criticism from pro-life groups who branded the program "a reality stunt." The broadcast, on Sky's Real Lives channel, was set to air Wednesday.

New 'Wonderland'

DirecTV plans to air the series "Wonderland," which ran on ABC in spring 2000, starting Jan. 14 on its 101 Network. This includes two previously aired episodes along with six never-before-seen installments as well as an opening commentary from creator/exec producer Peter Berg.

'Dance' partner

NBC has added Susie Castillo as co-host for its upcoming dance competition series "Superstars of Dance," which premieres at 9 p.m. Jan. 4. Castillo is repped by Gilbertson Entertainment and Brad Small.

'Bush' on Broadway

HBO is set to air a live telecast of the Broadway show "You're Welcome America: A Final Night With George W. Bush," starring Will Ferrell. The network also has come aboard as a producing partner of the Broadway show, which runs Feb. 5-March 15 after two weeks of previews.
