NBC ups Todd

Chuck Todd has been named NBC News' chief White House correspondent. The news division's political director will cover the Obama administration with Savannah Guthrie, also named White House correspondent, and become a contributing editor to "Meet the Press."

Knapp tapped

Reality production house 44 Blue has hired Lisa Knapp as head of development. Formerly a freelance producer, her credits include A&E's "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" and VH1's "Bands Reunited." 44 Blue's current productions include MSNBC's "Lockup," truTV's "Stringers: LA" and A&E's "LA Gang Unit."

Chlumsky hired

Anna Chlumsky has been cast in a recurring role on ABC's upcoming "Cupid," playing Josie, the assistant to Dr. Claire McRae (Sarah Paulson). Chlumsky is repped by Innovative and manager Cory Richman.

'Freedom' songs

TV One has partnered with Brainstorm Media, Time Life and MarVista Entertainment to produce "Let Freedom Sing: How Music Inspired the Civil Rights Movement," a documentary featuring iconic songs of the period. It will premiere Feb. 15 on TV One.
