CBS laughs loudest to win Monday night

Viewers on Monday flocked to encores of CBS' comedies, which easily won the night for the network, while Ryan Seacrest's NBC reality series "Momma's Boys" had a rocky transition to its regular Monday time slot. Led by a rerun of "Two and a Half Men" (11.8 million viewers, 3.5 rating/10 share among adults 18-49), the highest-rated program of the night, CBS averaged 8.4 million viewers and a 2.4/7 in 18-49. Following the "Today Show Looks Back at 2008" special at 8 p.m. (6.2 million, 1.5/5), the two-hour premiere of "Momma's Boys" drew 5 million viewers and a 1.7/5 in 18-49, down 32% in the demo from last week.
