Missy Elliott Shares New Song 'Pep Rally' in Time for Super Bowl 50

“Pep Rally” can be heard in a Super Bowl commercial for Amazon’s Echo speaker.

Beyonce isn’t the only one surprising fans with new music during Super Bowl weekend. Hours ahead of the big game on Sunday, Missy Elliott shared a new song called “Pep Rally.”

“#SuperBowl this my new Bounce ‘PepRally’ get u right 4the game where my Clappers,” she tweeted.

Elliott, who performed alongside Katy Perry at last year’s Super Bowl halftime show, made the single available for purchase on Sunday. “Pep Rally” follows her late 2015 track "WTF (Where They From)” featuring Pharrell Williams. She hasn’t released a new album since 2005’s The Cookbook.
“Pep Rally” can be heard in a commercial for Amazon’s Echo speaker, which features Elliott, Alec Baldwin and Jason Schwartzman. The ad will air during Super Bowl 50. Watch it below.
