"I am deeply grateful and humbled to have delivered a reading at a Mass celebrated by [Pope Francis]," he tweeted following the NYC Mass.
Former Daily Show correspondent Mo Rocca delivered the first reading at Madison Square Garden's Papal Mass in New York before Pope Francis took the pulpit on Friday.
The CBS Sunday Morning reporter read the first reading (from the book of Isaiah), in Spanish, to a packed out audience prior to Pope Francis leading Mass.
Rocca, who also hosts Cooking Channel's My Grandmother's Ravioli, personally tweeted, "I am deeply grateful and humbled to have delivered a reading at a Mass celebrated by [Pope Francis]," following the Mass.
