Culver City based mobile games developer Jam City will be an official polling center on Monday for early voting and ballot drop-off, as well as a socially distanced polling event.

The corporate headquarters will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT, with a video game-themed atmosphere set up outside and voters receiving gift bags with masks, hand sanitizer, food, beverages and branded items.

Earlier this month, Jam City began a #LevelUptheVote initiative to encourage the gaming community to vote. It also partnered with Michelle Obama's When We All Vote nonprofit organization to help drive voter registration.

"Jam City is first and foremost a community of people, and we believe that civic engagement and a contribution to our democracy is our social responsibility," said CEO Chris DeWolfe in a statement. "We encourage our millions of players to participate by registering to vote via Jam City’s award-winning mobile games, and we’re grateful to be selected by the County of Los Angeles as an official mobile polling center where we will host a COVID-safe, fun polling and election event."

The company is known for RPG game Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, puzzle games Cookie Jam and Panda Pop and interior design-themed game Vineyard Valley.

Last month also saw Enthusiast Gaming partner with Global Citizen and Head Count to promote voter registration across young gamers and esports fans specifically.

Elsewhere, gaming and entertainment company VENN joined MTV to partner for a Fall Guys-themed voting event. The five-hour broadcast event featured a charity gaming tournament and special guests including Felicia Day, 100 Thieves and esports organization Dignitas.
