All systems go for TW, Tacoda

Antitrust regulators cleared Time Warner Inc.'s purchase of online advertising firm Tacoda Inc., according to a notice issued Monday by the FTC. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. New York-based Tacoda, which targets ads based on Web surfers' browsing habits, will become a unit of TW's AOL unit.

New Source for West World Media

Hollywood Media Corp., a provider of news, information and ticketing services, said Monday that it has sold its Source business to West World Media for $23 million in cash. The business includes the CinemaSource, EventSource and ExhibitorAds operations. Along with the sale, Hollywood and West World also agreed to a multiyear data-sharing agreement that calls for West World to provide movie showtimes and event data to Hollywood, and Hollywood to supply movie and entertainment-related content to West World.
