Morgan Spurlock, 'Downton Abbey' Creator Join Lineup for InTV Conference in Jerusalem
AMC's Joel Stillerman and others also join HBO CEO Richard Plepler and MTV president Stephen Friedman as speakers at the event organized by Keshet, the company behind the original version of 'Homeland.'
Israeli entertainment firm Keshet Media Group will organize the event on March 15 and 16.
AMC executive vp original programming Joel Stillerman is also among the latest industry power players to join the conference lineup. Also attending to share their insight into the creation of world-class television will be president of ITV U.S. Orly Adelson, Entertainment One executive vp global productions Carrie Stein and Fox International Channels' Sharon Tal.
Previously announced speakers include HBO CEO Richard Plepler, who will be in conversation with best-selling author and political commentator Ari Shavit about the intersection between politics and programming, MTV president Stephen Friedman who will discuss how the Viacom brand is evolving amid the explosion of new viewing platforms, and documentary filmmaker Porter Erisman who will share his insights about China's Alibaba.
Also previously announced have been The Affair creator and House of Cards writer Sarah Treem and Nordic Noir writer Anders August (Borgen, The Killing, The Bridge, Follow the Money).
The conference will also feature a screening of USA Network murder mystery series Dig, which filmed its pilot in Israel. Created by Gideon Raff (Homeland, Tyrant) and Tim Kring (Heroes, Touch), it stars Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter) and Ori Pfeffer (World War Z). The team behind the show will be in attendance.
