Morgan Spurlock's Warrior Poets Promotes Ethan Goldman to Partner, Head of Development (Exclusive)

Also, Matt Cafritz has been hired as manager of development and Eric Enright has been upped to creative executive.

Morgan Spurlock's production company Warrior Poets has promoted Ethan Goldman to partner and head of development. The New York-based company also has hired Matt Cafritz as manager of development and promoted Eric Enright to creative executive.

Goldman has been with Warrior Poets since 2012, working with partners Spurlock, Jeremy Chilnick and Matthew Galkin to greatly expand Warrior Poets’ television, film and digital divisions. The projects he worked on include American Takedown for A&E; Dark Horse Nation for History; a feature-length documentary for CMT Films titled Freedom! The Movie; AOL’s first longform series, Connected; and Losing It for POP. 

He is also working on a soon-to-launch multichannel network backed by Maker Studios, SMARTish. Goldman’s previous producer credits include Storm Chasers, LA Ink, Brooklyn 11223 and MTV’s The Shop.

Cafritz, who has an extensive history in unscripted TV, has been appointed manager of development. He previously worked in development roles at Half Yard Productions, Leftfield Pictures and most recently Original Media. He has been on the teams behind series including Alone (History), America’s Most Badass (AHC) and the upcoming Pacific Warriors (Discovery). At Warrior Poets, he will help bolster their unscripted slate and feed the company’s development pipeline.
Enright, who has previously worked in a variety of roles at Warrior Poets over the last four years, including assistant to the head of production and associate producer on projects such as the Showtime series 7 Deadly Sins, has been promoted to creative exec. Eric will continue to produce as well as oversee the development of Warrior Poets' digital slate, including the launch of multichannel network SMARTish, where he is co-producing four series.
