MPAA Taps David England as Executive VP and CFO

Replaces Lisa Pierozzi and will begin his post in December.

The MPAA has named David England as its new executive vp and CFO. He starts in December and replaces Lisa Pierozzi.

England, who has spent six years as senior vp and CFO for Simon and Schuster, will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the MPAA’s finances. Based in Los Angeles and reporting to president and interim CEO Bob Pisano, he will also oversee facilities and information services.

“We are pleased to welcome David to the MPAA,” Pisano said. “He brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the entertainment industry, which will be an invaluable asset to our organization. I also want to thank Lisa for the substantial contribution she made to our organization and wish her well in her future endeavors.”

England also has served stints at the defunct UPN network, Western International Media Corp. and at Hanna-Barbera Prods.
