MTV Movie Awards: Lonely Island Performs Medley of Will Smith Hits

Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer took the stage to sing 'The Fresh Prince' theme song, "Men in Black" and "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It."

The Lonely Island took the stage during the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday to perform some of Will Smith's greatest hits of TV, film and music.

Starting off with the theme song to Smith's '90s hit The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the group paid tribute with a medley of his hip-hop songs, including "Parents Just Don't Understand," the film theme song "Men in Black" and "Gettin' Jiggy Wit' It."

The trio, dressed in '90s outfits complete with one-shouldered overalls, even ended their performance with a signature Men in Black mind erase and "Fresh Prince" chant with the audience.

Next up for the group (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer) is their feature film, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, which premieres June 3.

After their performance, Smith accepted the MTV Generation Award with friends Halle Berry and Queen Latifah.

The 25th annual MTV Movie Awards were held Saturday night at the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank. The taped broadcast, co-hosted by Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, aired Sunday on MTV and sister networks BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, TV Land, VH1 and VH1 Classic.
