Mullan, Colman, Marsan join 'Tyrannosaur'

Paddy Considine's directorial debut

LONDON -- Peter Mullan, Olivia Colman and Eddie Marsan have signed up to bolster fellow actor turned writer/director Paddy Considine in his big screen debut "Tyrannosaur."

Considine has cast the trio and will start shooting later this month in Leeds, U.K.

Backed by Warp X and Inflammable Films, Considine's efforts will be produced by Diarmid Scrimshaw.

Considine's script details the story of a violent, angry man who finds a charity shop worker with a dark secret.

The project is bankrolled by a network of companies from Film4, the U.K. Film Council, Screen Yorkshire and Optimum Releasing to EM Media, Madman and Nonstop Entertainment.

International sales are being handled by Protagonist Pictures.

Considine previously wrote and directed the BAFTA winning short film "Dog Altogether," which starred Peter Mullan and Olivia Colman, also produced by Scrimshaw.
