One year after an Adam Lambert-fronted Queen rocked a series of sold-out shows overseas, there’s word that the magic pairing may happen again.
In an interview with MTV UK, Queen guitarist Brian May hinted that the band is ready to welcome the American Idol alum back with open arms.
“We are talking about doing something with Adam, probably for TV,” said May. “He’s an amazing artist and a very nice guy. We keep in touch and have a good friendship.”

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter last December, Lambert had nothing but praise for the British superstars.
“I learned so much from Brian May and [drummer] Roger Taylor, sharing the stage with them and understanding the legacy that they left behind,” Lambert told THR at the time. “It inspired me. It got me psyched about why I do this in the first place.”
In other Lambert news, the season-eight favorite headlined Pittsburgh’s “Pride in the Street” event on Saturday, where he treated the crowd to a cover of the Queen B-side “Dragon Attack.”

Does that signal a longer tour with Queen? “We’re not talking about touring yet,” May said. “But we are talking about doing an event.”
