Following Lee DeWyze‘s lead, American Idol‘s Crystal Bowersox has parted ways with her label. The season 9 runner-up was signed to Sony Music’s Jive Records (the label’s moniker was recently retired by RCA Records, which absorbed most of the company’s roster, including season 8 winner Kris Allen) and released her debut album, Farmer’s Daughter, in December 2010. It has sold more than 205,000 copies.

Bowersox’s contract with 19 Recordings has also expired, leaving the singer a free agent, her manager confirms. DeWyze remains on the 19 roster.
The Ohio native who won over America with her rootsy-style and soulful delivery is slated to guest star in ABC’s Body of Proof on Oct. 25.
