The 2014 American Music Awards are teaming up with Yahoo.
The Coca-Cola Red Carpet LIVE! @ The 2014 AMAs preshow will stream on Yahoo, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The stream will be available at www.yahoo.com/live starting at 5 p.m. EST / 2 p.m. PST on Nov. 23.
The red carpet show is hosted by Lance Bass, Chelsea Briggs, Kandi Burruss, Gavin Degraw, Franke Grande, Taryn Manning, Jordin Sparks, Morgan Stewart and Ted Stryker. It will also feature performances from upcoming artists including Becky G, Ella Henderson, Katy Tiz, Mary Lambert, and R5. Viewers will get the chance to see the star-studded nominees, presenters and attendees strutting their stuff.
“The AMAs are an amazing kick-off to the celebratory season,” said Bass. “I have been honored with hosting the Coca-Cola Red Carpet LIVE! Show, now in its sixth year, and it is always amazing to catch up with artists and friends who are attending the show or who are nominated.”
The AMAs will broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live from 8 to 11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, on ABC. Voting is still live.
Azalea leads the AMA nominees with six nominations. John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams each go into the show with five nominations, while Lorde has four.
The 2014 American Music Awards is produced by Dick Clark Productions. Allen Shapiro and Mike Mahan are executive producers. Larry Klein, Barry Adelman and Mark Bracco are producers.
