The Official Charts Company, which measures music sales in the U.K., confirmed Monday that Adele’s “21” is now the highest selling LP in Britain this century.
Winehouse previously held the record with Back to Black, which has sold 3.3 million copies in the U.K. since its 2006 release. Adele’s sophomore album just topped sales of 3.4 million.

The OCC also says that 21 has not left the British top 10 since it came out nearly a year ago in January of 2011, 45 weeks of which its spent in the top 5.
Adele’s six Grammy nominations are considered the likely cause of the boost in sales last week, which pushed the tally to the 3.4 million mark.
