Bad news for Mahomies — Austin Mahone has postponed his upcoming tour.
The 17-year-old heartthrob has fallen ill, resulting in his MTV Artist to Watch tour being moved to next year, per a tweet on the singer’s Twitter page from his mother.

“Austin is very upset about this & we want to say we are sorry to all the Mahomies & their parents who have made arrangements to come out,” one of the tweets on his account reads. Another tweet ends with the hashtag #PrayforAustin.
We feel very bad but we have no choice but to POSTPONE the tour for now. Thank you for your prayers #PrayforAustin

The details of Mahone’s illness are unclear at this time, though the singer posted the below Instagram photo earlier in the day from what appears to be a hospital, the caption of which read that he had “never felt so bad.”
According to MTV, new dates for the sold-out tour will be announced as soon as possible.
Mahone’s untitled debut LP is currently being prepped. The single “What About Love,” the singer’s top-performing song, has peaked at No. 66 on the Hot 100 and at No. 18 on the Pop Songs chart.
