The British artist first emerged on the music scene in the mid-’90s after a series of collaborations with William Orbit and the Chemical Brothers. Orton won a devoted following with the albums Trailer Park, which featured the single ‘She Cries Your Name,’ in 1996, and 1999’s Central Reservation, which led to a Brit Award for Best Female Artist. The well-received 2012 release Sugaring Season was her first album in six years. Orton’s work has continued to reach new audiences with high-profile syncs on shows such as Grey’s Anatomy.
