More than 1.8 million people have tweeted about #LEMONADE since Beyonce’s HBO special aired Saturday evening, and much of the chatter has been about the speculation surrounding Jay Z’s alleged affair with fashion designer Rachel Roy. The problem? Much of the Beyhive has been attacking the wrong Rachel, confusing designer and Kim Kardashian pal Roy with celebrity chef Rachael (with an extra “a”) Ray (also with an “a”).
“Never watching ur show again Rachel u r a homewrecker,” one user wrote on Ray’s page.
Declared another member of the hive, “Oh I loved hot chicken fajitas but I will never make them again after what you did to the Queen.”
Check out the wildest tweets about Rachel Ray so far:
I thought Rachel Roy was Rachel Ray. I’ve never heard of Rachel Roy. I thought it was a typo.

Can’t believe Jay-Z cheated with Rachel Ray. Was juice worth the squeeze? I wonder if she has any recipes for OJ, this joke got away from me

I didn’t think Rachael Ray was even Jay-Z’s type. That must be some brisket.

Meanwhile, others took to commenting on images Ray posted of food on her Instagram account:
“Don’t forget the lemon zest beeyotch“
“Posting pictures of food doesn’t undo the damage Rachel I mean honestly”
“go caramelize some onions hoe!!! leave beyonce and her family alone!”
Another method used was the simple, but impactful: Flooding the comment section with bumble bee and lemon emojis.
The silver lining here for Ray? Think of all the followers she has probably gained on social media since Saturday night.
