The just-released video for Beyonce and Nicki Minaj’s song “Feeling Myself” is undeniably full of fashion eye candy. Shot at Coachella last month, the video is chock-full of neon bathing suits, jerseys, bucket hats, short shorts and gold jewelry. “I wanted to frame it as a bunch of kids from, like, Brooklyn and Queens and Manhattan went to Coachella — what would they wear?” To wit, some of the must-have items, shared Senofonte, were the furs. “B loved the furs. Loved them. She was like, ‘We have to figure out how to make these work.’ ”
Making it work actually required a bit of skilled maneuvering. “We had to have them Ubered from Palm Springs to L.A., then we sent them back, then we needed to bring them back again. It was wild,” said Senofonte of the Chloe and Oscar de la Renta furs Minaj and Beyonce wore, respectively, to sing the collaborative track off Minaj’s The Pinkprint.

The stylist, who’s also worked with Kim Kardashian and Mary J. Blige, said her personal favorite shot ended up being the one of the ladies having a blast in a kiddie pool wearing fluffy pink furs. “It was a total girlfriend vibe,” said Senofonte of the shoot. “Totally like, ‘You wear this, no you should wear this. Oh no, you look better in that.’ It was really amazing to see two of the biggest female stars in the world acting in that way. So supportive.” Any time the pair want to hang, we’re game.
