Did Beyonce cause the Big Super Bowl Blackout of 2013?
That’s what some think. But one thing is for certain: the superstar absolutely nailed her Halftime Show performance, one of the sexiest, most electrifying spectacles to hit football’s biggest night in quite some time. (Just ask Shaq.)
“It’s a live television show, it’s the biggest show in America,” Beyonce said afterward in an interview with omg! Insider. “There’s so many things that could happen and God was on my side, so I’m very, very happy that it went well and the power went out after.”

“It feels good to know the hard work paid off,” she said backstage, beaming with post-show euphoria.
Following her widely-praised act (which featured ex-Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams), Beyonce announced a nearly four-month transatlantic tour that kicks off in Serbia on April 15 and winds through Europe before hitting the States.
The tour comes in support of her next studio album, which has yet to be given a name or release date.
