Billy Joel might be done making new music, but he’s not quite finished in the family department. The 66-year-old rock legend and his new wife, Alexis Joel, welcome a baby girl into the world on Wednesday morning, according to a post on Billy Joel’s website.
Named Della Rose, she entered the world at 7 lbs., 6.5 oz. Alexis, a 33-year-old former Morgan Stanley exec, and Joel got married in a surprise wedding ceremony on July 4, 2015. Joel has a 29-year-old daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, with ex-wife Christie Brinkley. Alexis Joel is his fourth wife.
Just days before their nuptials, Joel broke the record for most solo performances at Madison Square Garden, an honor previously held by Elton John.
